Award-winning journalist and Seven News presenter Kay McGrath offers her advice to women in the media.
“I think the main message is to be clear on what it is that you want. And when you work that out, really go hard for it and back yourself also surround yourself with people who are positive and supportive and value-add to your life,” McGrath says.
McGrath, who received the prestigious Clarion Award for Most Outstanding Contribution to Journalism in 2016, sat down for a chat with Bond University student Kate Banville. Hear the experienced newsreader’s views on topics ranging from mentoring to the Women in Media National Conference.
