Women in Media founder Victoria Laurie

Victoria Laurie founded the original Women in Media with a group of West Australian women in 2005. She is now national co-patron of Women in Media with respected broadcaster Caroline Jones.

Laurie is an award-winning journalist and natural history author based in Perth.

She has been a TV and radio reporter for ABC, a freelance features writer for The Bulletin and The Weekend Australian magazine, and is currently a senior reporter with The Australian newspaper in the Perth bureau.

Victoria Laurie will speak at the 2018 Women in Media National Conference.
