Around a dining room table at a suburban home many months ago, the idea of organising the first Women in Media conference was first floated.
Fast forward, the conference is looming, many tickets have been sold, and sponsors have generously supported the two-day inaugural event.
As a result of that sponsorship, the committee can scale back the final ticket price now that the early bird special has expired.
For $275, delegates receive an all-access pass to the conference including panel discussions, networking drinks, and both lunches – one at Bond University on Friday and the other at The Star Gold Coast on Saturday.
Enjoy lunch and a glass of bubbles with Sunrise star Edwina Bartholomew, in conversation with our very own Kay McGrath at Bond University on Friday.
At The Star Gold Coast lunch on Saturday, award-winning investigative journalist and ABC Four Corners host Sarah Ferguson will talk candidly about her wide-ranging media career. The end-of-year Gold Coast lunch is always a highlight of the Women in Media Queensland calendar.
And we’re also offering one-day passes for delegates who are only available on Friday or Saturday. The price is $195.
Final ticket prices
Two-day pass: $275
One-day Friday pass: $195
One-day Saturday pass: $195
A reminder: There are limited places available and the numbers will need to be finalised ahead of time so please don’t delay and risk disappointment. The final day to buy tickets is Friday, October 20, 2017.
Look forward to seeing you on October 27 and 28, 2017 at Bond University and The Star Gold Coast.
